I have yamaha PSR i455 keyboard. My keyboard had motherboard problem and I changed motherboard and now again same problem repeating again and again. This problem made me mentally disturbed. I am from middle class family so I cannot able to repair the keyboard again and again. Actually my friends and my keyboard master suggest me to buy PSR i455 keyboard is best for Trinity exam, but now this problem makes me, my master and my friends were having bad opinion about PSR i455. I purchased one key board model: PSR-F243 for my kid from Yamaha Music Square, Kolkata in the month of Feb'16. On 3rd May it suddenly stopped working. On 4th May'16 I had taken it to your authorized service centre M/s Shyan Electronics (Service). The job number is S. E. S:(2015-16)4/May/02 (Scan enclosed). Today is 28th May'16 and it had not repaired till date. The service center is not responding and the dealer is not taking action. I have purchased one Yamaha Key Board PSR E 353 model from M/s. Pranavam Musical Foundation, Thycaud, Trivandrum Pin 695 014 vide their invoice No. 2691 dated 9. 5. 16. But when I reached home and open the pack it is seen that all the key pad keys are severely damaged in its edges. And I have also noted the make of year of the keyboard is 2015 May. When I contacted the dealer and said the complaint. He gave a phone number of one Ms. Vimala of Koc customer care of yamaha, and wanted me to send the photograph of the damaged portion along with the invice to her. As per his instruction I have sent the same on Whats App. And doing the follow up for the last eight days, but she told me that she would do her best for the replacement of the same. I am Biju Francis, owner of an I233 model keyboard. It is on warranty and i gave it to M/s. Awaz Service, Mavoor Road, Calicut, Kerala. The problem is with rubber contact and some of the keys are not working and it needed to be replaced with new keyboard. They (Mr. Soman) says while replacing (for five octaves) the older contacts has to be returned to M/s. Yamaha company. And even in the warranty period I have to pay for the new rubber contacts. I have purchased a Yamaha Piano PSR E223 two years back and it was working properly. While working the Adapter's wire disconnected and my son connected the chord directly to the power supply. The power supply part of the board was burned. I contacted the Yamaha Service Centre at Ernakulam - Angel Techno Services, Kurisupally Road, Cochin, he told me that the entire board should be replaced and it costs about 3500 rupees. At that time I was at rest after an accident. The last month I handed it over to them for repair. After a few weeks they informed that the board costs Rs. 11, 000. I purchased the Piano for Rs. 7000 on 2012. On inquiry over the phone they informed that the Piano costs Rs. 16000 and the board costs Rs. 11000. If logically thinking an item costs Rs. 7000 and to replace the circuit board costs Rs. 11000. The authority informs me if i cannot pay Rs. 11000 to get it repaired take the Piano back. So please go through the matter and get it repaired at a nominal rate.
