Luckily with the help of some tweezers he was able to pick it out without breaking it and having rinsed his mouth with antiseptic, he was ok. He never keeps receipts and didn’t want to make a complaint. However I am doing so on his behalf as I think you should know as if this glass shard had broken while he was trying to get it out, we would be talking about serious injury.comments please.
Me and my mum visited Lidl in Scarborough on the 28/03/18at nine am to beat the rush. After filling two full shopping trollies we make are way to the tills as we approach till three a employee shouts use self service and carries on drink his drink then ask another employee if she was opening another till which she reply no you have to use self serve. While we had to use self serve and holding up that line up because we had so much and having to ask several times for authorisation that's when the staff that were stacking shelf where they could see a line forming decides to open a till. It not the first bad experience i have had in the Scarborough store, but we always put the rudeness and them being in helpful to the store being busy. It will be the last time i do my shopping there and will not be recommending it again. As i work in retail i know if i spoke to a customers the way your staff spoke to us and other customers i would be out of a job. Yours Vicky Dineley .

My bank account was double charged by Lidl1056 when I used my debit card. I called my bank and they said Lidl put the hold on until 22 Feb 18, I used the card on 19 Feb 18 and the charge cleared the bank. It is a inconvenience as I use my card for shopping, I had to shop at ALDI today as I could not afford to shop at Lidl with the double charging(the actual charge then the 72 hour hold). Roses did the same thing and I no longer shop there, you have lost a faithful shopper.

I bought two pairs of shorts about two months ago. I have worn each pair only two or three times. Both pairs have torn without having any reason. They have torn in the middle of the fabric rather than at the seams. I threw the first pair away, hoping this was a one off occurrence. I bought a Russell Hobbs kettle as it was a special including the George Foreman two for £25 for both. I just got home and I found out that the kettle was missing. All I got was the box and the attachments.
Shopped in Lidl Sowerby Bridge West Yorks yesterday morning 13 Sept 2018. Today checking the receipt we noticed two items which we cannot identify
1- 'carmalised onion' at £1. 99
and
2- 'Pistachios lose' at 0. 700kg at £10. 50
we bought a few lose almonds, but not £10. 50 worth

Dear Lidl Stores: I heard you was getting stores in the states. Please consider St Marys Oh. We need a grocery store like this very much. Not much shopping, but we love to shop We have a Krogers, but people complain how expensive they are and a littler grocery that does't carry much. The only other store is a smaller K Mart.
