So much for customer careIf it was a company TOI was reaching out to and no response. By now it would be on their headlines. So much for mediai was trying to reach out to complain against the newspaper vendor in Sushant lok three, Sec 57 for irregular (no delivery last three days) and late delivery (around nine am). It is Narender News Agency 9871533804 and they do not respond to complaints. Is there a solution or TOI and us are at the mercy of these lumpen elements who control the distribution (mostly local milkmen)would be eagerly looking forward to your response. Tks.

Dear Times Rep, I am staying in Fresco, Nirvana Country, Gurgaon and subscriber of Times of India and Economic Times seven days a week. Your vendor in that area is not offering me Combo pack and when I brought this to his notice, then he mentioned that if he charges Combo pack, then for Saturday and Sunday, TOI refuses to give Economic times. Told him to charge cost of ET which is Rs10 on these days, , but he continues to deny me ET on weekend and has confirmed that TOI is not willing to give at Rs. ten payment by subscriber. I am the regular reader of Times of India News paper and a resident of Sector 56 Gurgaon. The Newspaper Distributor "D. K. YADAV NEWS AGENCY" were charging rupees 15 extra as delivery charges. Now the are increasing these charges from 15 to rupees 25 per month. As per news published in The Hindu dated August nine, 2013 The Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kozhikode, has declared ‘illegal’ the practice of newspaper agents collecting service charges from subscribers for door delivery of newspapers without the prior permission or consent of the printer and publisher. So did Times of India has authorized this Vendor for collection of Service charges rupees 25 for the Door delivery of News paper ? Sachin9999987104.

This is to bring to your kind notice that my area (Gurgaon sector 15) newspaper vendor is overcharging me for your newspaper. i read TOI and NBT papers and it is clearly mentioned on the paper about the combination cost which is rupees 7, but the vendor charges seperate amount, his reason being that he doesnt get the paper on combo cost from company's side. also he is charging rupees 20 as delivery charges per newspaper, per month, which i never saw before.

The vendor is YADAV NEWS AGENCY, Gurgaon. please look into the matter and check why your vendor is overcharging us in your company' s name. if you are unable to monitor this situation, then i will have to take help from the consumer court forum.
please find an attached copy of the two month bill provided to me.

I am an ardent diehard TOI readern for the past 40 odd years, residing in Mayfield Gardens Sector -50, Gurgaon. We are being serviced by Thakran News Agency in our sector (I believe there is cartel which operates for allocation of areas). The agent is an errant and provides newspapers to our society at his will and convenience, there is simply no timing and assurance of daily supply. Also everyday one odd supplement is missing. Repeated requests, complaints and threats of discontinuation have met deaf ears. There is total apathy and unaccountability by the vendor.Pl revert and discuss
