Ms. Candy Reem On Phone To Advance Auto Parts Service
I have been trying to get a refund since Wed. 4/24. I have my receipt. I took it to the local store(01976, Moline, IL). No luck. I have contacted your chat representative, but the chat timed out before I could explain the situation. No reply. I then took your "survey" to tell you what I thought of your chat application. No reply. I emailed aapcustomercare.com twice. No reply. I am going to write a letter to Tom Greco(AAP CEO) and ask if this is considered good "customer service".
Mr. Joseph Taylor On Phone To Advance Auto Parts Service
I purchased a Quiet-Flow SS Muffler part 21544 Nas-Walker manufacturing. This was advertised as an "exact fit for your 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo" In order to avoid additional parts and increased labor charges I chose an "exact fit" muffler. The certified mechanic did install the muffler as requested however, additional pipe had to be purchased because the muffler was not an exact fit. I was charged $119. 00 for "Dynomax" pipe Part wa151026. The description of the Walker quiet flow muffler is false and misleading. I never would have chosen this muffler if it did not fit. I would like to be reimbursed for the $119. 00. For the additional part. I have the receipts upon request. The Federal Trade Commission bans false or misleading representations of products. I was informed to contact customer service before filing with the FTC Bureau of consumer protection. I hope we can resolve this matter.
