Alfa Educational Society established Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool during the academic year 2001-2002 with a view to provide 4 year engineering course to the youth of rural area in and around the Mandal head quarters of Allagadda on non profit basis. It then started 2 year M.B.A course during the academic year 2002-2003, it is aiming at providing quality professional education for rural people at affordable cost.
Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool is provide professional education to students of rural background, ALFA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY was registered in 2001 under the Chairmanship of Mr.Sharief .The society is run by the patronage of Sri. Bhooma NagiReddy and Smt. Shoba Nagi Reddy. The technical advisor and correspondent of the college is, Dr.G.RamaKrishna Reddy, Director of Ramakrishna Group of Educational Institutes, Nandyala.
Vision and Mission of Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool town surrounded by number of villages is relatively a backward area in Kurnool (D.t.). Sri Bhooma Nagi Reddy, former M.P. Nandyala and Smt.Shoba Nagi Reddy, former M.L.A. Allagadda wanted to provide facilities for professional education at Allagadda. So that students of surrounding villages can be benefited. With this intention, they established Alfa Educational Society in 2001 which runs an Engineering college and a M.B.A college. The objective of this society is to provide quality education on non-commercial basis to the rural people. Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool offers different kind of bachelor and master courses leading to different streams.
Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool is located in Kandukar Metta, Kadapa Road, Allagadda, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The society acquired an area of 32 acres on the National Highway No: 18, Kurnool-Cuddapah-Chittoor. The college is situated at 4-5 kms. From Allagadda towards Cuddapah abetting the Highway.
Library facility of Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool is well equipped and housed in a big hall of 3000 sq.ft. Library is manned by Two MA, MLISc Post Graduates. Library has over 8000 volumes of books. Library is kept open from 9 am to 8 pm in all working days and 10 am to 1 pm on Sundays and holidays. Library has over 8000 volumes of books. Subscribing 25 national and international journals. 20 periodicals are made available to the students Library information is computerized.

Games and Sports facility of Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool 10 acres Play ground for outdoor games and sports - Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and Badminton etc. Games and sports competition are held for college day function every year our students also participate in the outside tournaments held by the JNTU and other organizations. Training and Placement Cell of Alfa College of Engineering and Technology – Kurnool division is running with combination of In-house trainers and Industry experts. To strengthen student’s skills integrated training schedules are running for final year and pre final year students throughout the year. Grass record of placements is very good and improving every year. Students have been placed in reputed Mac’s, IT & core companies like INFOSYS, SATYAM, IBM, WIPRO, KPIT COMMINS & SYNTELL. College is also identified as a JKC star status campus by IEG to conduct campus drives. Placements are being conducted through on campus, off campus basis.
