Act 1971, to regulate British International Airways Corporation (BOAC) along with British Western Airways (BEA). The functions of both BOAC and BEA was combined on 1st September 1972, underneath the newly made
British Air passages Group. British Airways was established as an Airline on 31 March 1974 with the termination of BOAC as well as BEA.
