Global Institute of Information Technology has state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with latest pentium machines. All the labs are interconnected with local area network (LAN) and are open for 24 hours. The entire computer center is equipped with the latest software like Windows, Linux, Visual Studio, Oracle, MS Office, etc for the students curriculum project requirements as well technological developments. The labs are exemplary in terms of maintenance & upgradability. The institute has a radio link backbone with 2 mbps bandwidth. The internet facility is available round the clock to the students.
The Global Institute of Information Technology has an intranet, which inter-connects the various administrative departments and the academic sections of the institute. The LAN connects the library to the other departments. Various applications like the file monitoring system, casual leave handler, tax calculation system, location information system, complaint lodging system, lost & found system, etc are implemented through the LAN to facilitate the office procedures. The institute has a well stocked library with more than 10 thousand books and subscribes for several national and international journals and magazines. The library has a spacious reading room.
