Government Women Polytechnic College - Sanganer is the 7th Women Polytechnic in Rajasthan, established by Govt. of Rajasthan under Technical education department in the year 2005-06.The first batch of the institute started in the year 2006-07. Humble chief minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje inaugurated the institute in Dec., 06 & now Government Women Polytechnic College - Sanganer is running smoothly in its own premises from Sep. 07.We is thankful for the vision to start women polytechnic college in the southern area of Jaipur.
The total land area available to Government Women Polytechnic College - Sanganer is 10,570 sqm. in which the department has planned to construct 4 storied educational building comprising class rooms, laboratories, conference hall, canteen / common room, exhibition / display room, underground parking etc. Apart from this, institute would also have hostel facility, staff-quarters, play grounds, water harvesting facility in near future. The total project would cost nearly 10 crores.
Government Women Polytechnic College - Sanganer aim to lend a true educational environment to the students for which we are in the process of establishing well equipped labs for the students with latest technology equipments & teaching aids. We emphasize on overall growth & personality development of the students, for which we organize curricular, co-curricular, extracurricular & sports events throughout the year. It is a great achievement for Government Women Polytechnic College - Sanganer that the institute won championship trophy in Inter-polytechnic sports competition in the year 2006-07.Field visits, workshops, seminars are the key factors through which we try to enrich our students in the respective fields.College provide Diploma program to the college students.

The Book Bank has a collection of 11421 books.

And second position in Inter – Polytechnic Volley ball (shooting) held at G.P Nilokheri in Sep 2006.
