JP College of Arts and Science – Tirunelveli has been functioning from 2007 under the management of Grace Swaminathan Educational & Charitable Trust. This is a co-educational institution approved by the Government of Tamilnadu. The vicinity of the Western Ghats which bring drizzle and breeze sustain the climate pleasant and cool through out the year. The famous tourist centre Courtallam is situated just 10Km away from our college. JP College of Arts and Science – Tirunelveli offers different kind of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The institution is located in a sprawling area of about 50 acres of land between Tenkasi and Ayikudi Town Panchayat, in Tirunelveli District. JP College of Arts and Science – Tirunelveli is situated in an evergreen environment emanating peace and tranquility creating an atmosphere conducive for learning. The Library serves as the Institute’s intellectual, cultural, and social center capitalizing on a resourceful staff and new technologies to foster a stimulating environment for teaching, learning, and scientific discovery by providing innovative services and authoritative resources. To solidify awareness of the Library as a vital presence and essential research source within the Institute through collaboration with faculty and administration and through the implementation of new initiatives. The library has valuable books and journals. JP College of Arts and Science – Tirunelveli encourages maximum use of the library resources. Library is kept open from 9.30 A.M to 4.30 P.M on all working days.
JP College of Arts and Science – Tirunelveli provides hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are two hostels managed by the institution. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls students. All the hostels are provided with mess facilities. Mess dividing system is followed in all the hostels. The elected mess committee in each hostel manages the functioning of mess. The Hostels are headed by the Principal assisted by the Resident Tutors.
