Krishna Girls Engineering College - KGEC Kanpur was established in2007. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). In order to promote women towards technical education and their social upliftment, the management of Krishna Group of Institutions with mutual agreement with Kanpur Educational Society came up with Krishna Girls Engineering College, the first engineering college exclusively for girls in Kanpur.
