Little Tikes Company is an American manufacturer and retailer of toys and furniture for the children. History
Little Tikes was founded by Thomas G. Murdough Junior in 1969 before being purchased by
Rubbermaid in 1984. Latter was owned by Newell in 1999 to become Newell Rubbermaid. Seven year later, MGA Entertainment's growing interest to expand toys business ended up with the acquisition of the Newell Rubbermaid.
Achievement
Little Tikes is known for its several toys models, which also proved breakthrough in the past for the company. The selling of six million units earned its toy car model, Cozy Coupe a title of "world's best-selling car for much of this decade" by The
New York Times in 1998.
