Luis Alberto Moreno Mejía is a Colombian politician and 4th President of the Inter-American Development Bank. He was born on 3 May 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Luis Alberto Moreno Mejía received his BA degree in Business Administration and Economics and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1975 and 1977 respectively. He served as the Executive Producer of "TV Hoy" a news program from 1982-1990. Throughout his political career Luis Alberto Moreno Mejía has been President of the Instituto de Fomento Industrial (IFI), Minister of Economic Development, Andean region representative of WestSphere Capital [ 1997-1998] etc. He can be reached at @MorenoBID on twitter.
