Presently around 1500 students are studying in the institute. Now the university had changed and it is Gujarat Technical University.

Surat. The construction works are in progress for 50-100 rooms of the ground floor and first floor of the Girls Hostel building. In fact the extension work was carried on priority basis and complete in record time in view of extreme paucity. a suitable accommodation particularly for girl students in the college campus more so, in the vicinity of the Educational complex. A persistent demand for a 50-100 rooms boys hostel in the Pithawalla Educational Campus was accepted by the Governing body of the Navyug Vidya Bhavan Trust, Surat. It will be ready for use before the commencement of the forth-coming academic session.
