Ms. Donna Burke On Phone To Coleman Furnace Service
The red light is flashing on my colman heating and Air conditioning. What does that mean.
I have got nothing done, but spend money on this furnace since i bought it new in 2006. I wish i would have spent the extra money and bought a name brand furnace. I did not even have the furnace a year before i spent two nights in my house when the temp was hovering around 40 degrees inside. This year i have replaced the board the igniter and just this week a diode. Where is the longevity of the parts they use build these. Will not purchase another Coleman Furnace. Lesson learned.

Ms. Theone Hillard On Phone To Coleman Furnace Service
I purchased a Coleman-Evcon unit from Vanderbrook account company and had it installed on 7/1/09. It was a model #GCGD48S21S2 and serial #SW0F9937326. In 5/12 the compressor went out. I was told to us that the part was still under warranty and we would have to pay for the install and freon which cost us $715. Then in 8/13, just a little over one yr later, the unit lost two lbs of freon due to what was thought to be the schrader core to the suction line malfunctioning. The schrader core was tightened Freon replaced at our cost $192. Now just two months later we are told that the coils on the unit have a leak. I am out of money for repairs to a unit that we have only had for approx. 3.5 yrs. I know that you are a reputable company and would like to see what can be done to replace this unit due to numerous repairs. I inherited a used unit when I bought this house and it lasted seven years (used) before it needed to be replaced. How can you help me with this problem in obtaining a replacement unit?
