The Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital – Jabalpur is one of the oldest educational institutions in the state and the first dental college in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital – Jabalpur offers undergraduate course in the field of dentistry, namely, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), with an aim of providing talented dental surgeons to the society. The course is a four-year program, conducted as per the guidelines of DCI and the University. The Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital – Jabalpur is also attached to a Hospital, which has enough infrastructures to provide modern medical treatment to the patients.

Spread over an area of 7.5 acres of land the campus consists of the main college building and the clinics, the hostels for boys and girls, residential facility for staff and dean, playground, etc. Several lecture halls are available in the main building equipped with audio and video aids, projectors, etc. Stepped halls with good ventilation and lighting are available to provide a good learning environment. Spread on a single floor with an area of over 10000 square feet it is one of the best in the region. An extensive collection of books and journals are available along with news papers and magazines. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms are fully furnished with attached bathrooms and have all facilities for lodging and boarding. Applications for hostel have to be made on the prescribed form. The students in the hostel are subject to Disciplinary control of the Warden/Lady Warden.
