The Junior and Degree College classes are conducted in their own building equipped with facilities. In April 1983, the first batch of students appeared for their TYBCom Degree Examination of the Bombay University. In the year 1988-89, the Society started the Junior College in Science attached to the Degree College with well equipped laboratories. The first batch of Students appeared for TYBSc in April 1993. The
NR Swamy College of Commerce and Economics and Smt Thirumalai College of Science - Mumbai ever since has grown from strength to with more branches being added. The motto of the society is strength which means that the right to education is the greatest of all wealth. Thus the Society's activities spread over the last five decades have always been to serve and advance the cause of education from Primary to Post - Graduation.
NR Swamy College of Commerce and Economics and Smt Thirumalai College of Science - Mumbai is located at Sewere Wadala Estate, Wadala, Mumbai.The good results at the college examinations have been mainly due to the fact that the teaching staff is highly qualified, devoted and dedicated its efforts have culminated in postgraduate courses such as M.Com and M.Sc (Chemistry) and M.Sc (IT) being the recent add on also a parallel full fledged degree course in Business Management Studies (BMS). The first batch of TYBMS Students passed in 2003. Considering the contribution of our College, we are accredited by NAAC with B+.
