Roshan was started in 2003 with the help of American military activities. US military had provided GSM license to

Roshan has launched
3G network in 2013 and was the third company that has obtained the 3G license in Afghanistan.
Roshan offers 3G serves in Kabul, Kandahar, Herat and other major cities.
