I had sent a message some time ago, about the melting of the racks for the dehydrator. To date I have heard nothing. I can post these pics online, but I prefer to deal with this here. Do you have racks that are better for this use?
I require all five racks for the dehydrator. Pic is attached. Heat resistant would work great, do you supply these? Will wait until Wednesday to hear from you, then I will post my complaint online. Appreciate your time, and attention to this matter. Jo-anne .

I own a Salton dehydrator which I can no longer use. All the trays have split apart and the lid is no longer functional because of all the cracks. I bought a vita pro dehydrator about a year ago. I never had the opportunity to use it until recently. After about 36 hours of use the trays started showing cracks, I proceeded to use extreme care when handling the trays, however the trays deteriorated and now two have completely broken and the remaining three all have cracks in them. I have searched for the Canadian tire receipt without success. It is definitely a manufacturing defect and you did not do enough product testing before releasing the product. The tray material used to mould the trays was definitely NOT suitable for the application, as is demonstrated by complaints about this issue online. I believe that it is your responsibility to voluntarily recall and replace all the defective trays with ones that won't fall apart after just a few uses. Other than this one issue with the trays, the machine works very well and it is my hope that you will resolve my problem.

Hi there, I have your glass kettle. I've had for almost a year and a couple of weeks ago it cracked. I haven't used it in a few months, due to it being summer and too hot. So it cracked just sitting on my counter for no reason. I'm wondering if it was because of the heat in the house? Would there be a warranty of some kind? Any help would be appreciated.
I purchased a Salton cordless kettle last November and it has stopped boiling water. Recently I sent two e-mails to the c/s service dept., with no response. Maybe I sent them to the wrong URL address. The Model JK1282 is still under warranty and I would like to get the kettle repared or replaced. I hope that this time I will get a response.

Hello, I have purchased a kettle from Personal Edge, Toronto Bloor and Bay street location on August 01/2015. Unfortunately the store closed down in February. It is a Salton kettle code JK1277. It stopped working. I contacted another store of Personal edge and they said it is discontinued they cannot do anything. I would like that kettle to be replaced under warranty. We love the way our new Salton Induction Cook top works. But we are made nervous by unexplained codes having to do with turning the unit on or off:1) Turning On; We follow the directions in the manual, but get an L. What does it mean? If we push the On/off button again, we get four dashes - - - -, but then the L appears again. 2) Turning off: We follow the directions and get an H. What does it mean? is the unit really Off? I have purchased a Salton Vita Pro food dehydrator and after two uses the trays have become brittle and are literally falling apart (DH1246H and DH1246F). I recently purchased a Salton cordless frother model FR1416 from The Bay. I have used it a few times, but now the milk tastes burned and there is a thick deposit in the bottom of the frother. I clean it regularly, but it is getting worse. What do I do?.
I bought the Salton Cordless Frother Model FR1416 on 17April2015, I have used this Frother for three times only and the fothering does not work. I find out that the stand which support the whisk is not fixed and come out from the frother. As I cannot find the original purchase receipt so is not able to return. Please advise how can I fix the problem. For your information, the frothing is good, but the parts inside need to be improved as I found the same problem in the Salton products review. Your attention is very much appreciated.

Some of the poorest customer service I've experienced in many years. I bought a Toastess coffeemaker from Amazon earlier this year. Within weeks the spout of the carafe cracked and it continued to deteriorate until it was obvious after just a couple of months it needed replacement. Sadly, no one could get me a replacement. It took months of on-and-off research to find out that the carafe had to be ordered from Salton in Canada. No on-line resources, they asked me to mail them a check. Took them several days to respond to my e-mail and a week to respond to my VM Shipping was expensive. Instead I finally found Farnsworth House, in the US, with a better price and cheaper shipping. I bought, notified Salton that I'd gotten a better price. Farnsworth then called me back to say Salton had refused to supply them Two months later Salton agreed to process a CC purchase. It took them eight days to ship. The response on the delay from Ryan in service was snippy and rude. Awful.
