Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research – SBSPGI Dehradun spread over an area of 25 acres and huge educational infrastructure and lush green gardens, is located in the peaceful and gorgeous valley of Dehradun. The tall and royal buildings of the Institute having well equipped Conference Room, Seminar Hall, Audio-Video facility, projected training aids providing a layout that encourages interaction amongst staff & students. Strongly committed to providing quality education. Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research – SBSPGI Dehradun spread in an area of 12 acres the academic campus includes the four main faculty blocks namely, Baba Kharak Singh Block, Professor Puran Singh Block ,Medical Lab Technology Block and Biotechnology block along with the Administrative Block, Cafeteria and the Girls' Hostel. Under expansion programme the proposed Medical Sciences Block is under construction.
The Library is a rich learning resource and technological back bone for all intellectual and academic activities of the Institute. With a floor area of 5200 sq. ft. Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research – SBSPGI Dehradun library functions with an "Open Access System" and is well equipped and organized in to various sections manned by well qualified library professionals and highly experienced staff. Library is enriched with adequate number of Text and Reference Books, and Periodicals totaling over 10,000 books and 175 CD's on the relevant subjects. Besides above, over 85 selected current national and international periodicals including Research Journals covering areas of Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics & Drugs, Natural Products, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Physiotherapy, Medical Sciences and other Allied Health Sciences are subscribed regularly. College Library has an outstanding reading room with the seating capacity of more than 200 students. The Library is fully computerized and supported by LIBMAN software package. The hostels comprises of 260 & 140 elegantly well furnished rooms in both the hostels respectively. Both hostels are equipped with hygienic mess facilities, well furnished reading rooms (provided with latest magazines and newspapers), A.C. recreation rooms with Home Theatre and indoor sports infrastructure. College offers different kind of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
