Infrastructure cell of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies – SIMS Pune has been instrumental in implementing the idea of green and clean campus. SIMS has a new croquet lawn now at campus. Infrastructure cell initiated drive to sell all the junks and waste paper, this collection helped in buying sports equipment for croquet.
Recently Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies – SIMS Pune inaugurated an improved basketball court. On the inauguration day, students thronged to see the matches, which were followed by DJ night. Badminton tournament was held earlier this year. Based the overwhelming response in participation and popularity, SIMS has planned for another badminton court on campus.
As a security measure, the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies – SIMS Pune hostels and the Health centre have been fitted with CCTV at their respective entrance. At SIMS we believe in Prevention is better than cure. Pranay, a social initiative taken by SIMS, organized a Blood Donation Camp at the campus on the eve of Padmashree Dr. S. B. Majumdar's (President and Founder Director, Symbiosis) birthday.
