With its interdisciplinary flavour it prepares students for post graduation courses in Law, Journalism, Business and Economics and provide them with career opportunities in various industries, financial institutions, media & communication, government, research and academia.
Symbiosis School of Economics - SSE Pune has classrooms are with LCD projector with the facility of collar mikes. The library has collection of books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, CD’s etc. A well equipped Computer lab having internet connection is available for the students. The infrastructure includes ICT enabled lecture halls, an ultra modern auditorium, library, Wi-Fi enabled campus, a well equipped Gymnasium, yoga hall, etc. Limited hostel accommodation for boys and girls (while preference will be given to International Students and out station students, the same cannot be assured to all) is also available. The campus has a canteen that serves a variety of snacks and a mess that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The campus also has a Reprography centre and a Bank to facilitate the students.

The students of Symbiosis School of Economics - SSE Pune participated in the International Hindu Model United Nations held from 17th to 20th August 2010, organized by the Hindu College, Delhi University. Model United Nations are an excellent platform for the students to gain experience on the political, foreign and economic policy making for countries. The students of SSE took part in various United Nations sessions like General Assembly, Human Rights Council, Security Council and UNDP.
Symbiosis School of Economics - SSE Pune has initiated the process of actively participating in the student exchange program. The institute has already 13 students who have applied for Ontario-Maharashtra-Goa (OMG) Exchange Program. SSE is in the process of obtaining scholarships from Maastricht University and Berlin School of Economics. The content of the programs offered by these institutes is unique and perfectly tailored to the needs of SSE.
The Placement Cell Symbiosis School of Economics - SSE Pune working in close coordination with its faculty advisor, provides a platform for students seeking recruitments to interact with possible recruiters on the campus. The Placement Cell, guided by a set of rules and principles strives to maintain warm relation with firms. Preparing the recruitment schedule for the year, inviting firms for pre-placement talks on campus followed by final placements, and overseeing the process to its end are responsibilities that the Placement Cell endeavors to carry out successfully. The Placement Committee warmly invites corporate firms, banks, research organizations, government institutions and non-government institutions to be a part of the Placement Process at Symbiosis School of Economics.
