Toonz Academy - Delhi is the training division of the award winning animation studio, Toonz Animation India Pvt Ltd. (www.toonzanimationindia.com) Toonz Academy - Delhiwas established in the year 2002 and is a fully owned subsidiary of Toonz Entertainment Pte Ltd Singapore, the parent company of the Toonz Group. The first centre of the academy was established in Trivandrum near the Technopark campus during the year 2003. Since then the academy has grown in stature with centres in Delhi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Calicut. Plans are in fast swing to establish centres elsewhere in major cities across India. The academy offers 12 months Advanced Diploma course in animation. Toonz Academy - Delhi also offers a portfolio of short-term courses in animation and visual effects. Continuing its fast pace of growth, the Academy has signed MOU's with leading Chinese Universities to set up animation training centres in China and plans to expand its operation to West Africa, Middle East and South East Asia.

Toonz Academy - Delhi offers an ‘Advanced Diploma in Digital Arts and Animation’ that aims to impart proficiency in key areas like Character modeling, Background, Organic Character Texturing, Lighting, Character Rigging, Character Animation and Particle Effects, Dynamics, and Compositing.

Toonz Academy - Delhi has established state-of-the-art campuses in major cities across the country. The first centre was set up in the year 2003 in Trivandrum, in proximity to the Toonz Animation Studio. Toonz-Webel Academy, India's first freestanding animation academy was established in Calcutta in the year 2004. Toonz Academy - Delhi was a symbiotic partnership with Toonz and Webel (West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd).
Year 2007 was a landmark year, with new centres in the cities of Nagpur, Delhi and Hyderabad. Continuing its phenomenal expansion, centres in Ahmedabad and Indore were set up in May 2008 and the Calicut centre in December 2008. Furthering the presence across India, centres in Chennai, Bhopal and Jabalpur were opened in the earlier part of 2009.
Our centres exude the ambience of world – class production studios. This ensures first hand experience to our students what the industrial work environment is like. Each centre is equipped with the latest software and technology, libraries with a wealth of information in the form of books, videos, DVD's, journals, CD-ROMs, industry relevant articles.
