The University of Kota is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established with the assent of Governor of Rajasthan and recognized by UGC in 2003 under the state act. It offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. His Excellency Sh. S.K. Singh, Governor of Rajasthan is the Chancellor of the university. At present the University of Kota has 129 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments.
The mission of University of Kota is to make this university a great seat of learning and to establish centers of excellence in Departments for teaching and research in different faculties and interdisciplinary fields through which students can bring out their hidden potentialities in lime light and contribute effectively towards the development of their beloved motherland ‘Bharat’ and humanity as whole.
