Shramjivi Shikshan Prasak Mandal established Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad in 1990. Our college has been consistently attempting not only to provide a mere formal education or ust create a graduate but also it has been struggling to inculcate ethical values, values of life, social awareness for emotion of national integration. We all teachers not only offer love, affection and faith to them and we consistently try to uplift them to the door of their highest peak of status.
Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad is located at the east outskirts of the Omerga town, North side on the National high way No. 9, Dist. Osmanabad. Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad aims at the all – sided development of the students by applying the ethical, intellectual, physical and cultural values that he/she achieves here. While giving the value based education, we can't be certain that students get these values from books because there is merely an inventory of the thousands of words related of education and moral values. It is not quite certain that these values can be achieved in the four walled classrooms but those can be achieved from the individual, group, society and entire behavior of the Nation. Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad is bound to accompany our students to carry our thoughts of educational and moral values to the remote rural parts and not confine itself to the campus of the college.
In the new century, while competing with the world, we wish our students should not be deficient anywhere, so Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad has made available course Microbiology, Industrial chemistry & Computer science etc. We have also made available PG courses of M.A. History, English, Economics M.Sc. Mathematics, Botany and Zoology, so that the student of this area should not face any inconvenience. Also we have Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra open University center, Nashik, for B.A. And B.Com degree courses. We are very happy to mention here that we got the inclusion of our college, in 2(F) of the UGC act 1956 and our college has accredited by NAAC with B grade.
Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad is completely equipped with all modern and sophisticated facilities such as computer centre, library, reading room, music house, auditorium, consumer store, Photocopy room, video scope, overhead/ slide projectors, LCD project, InfoTech centre, gymkhana, gymnasium, canteen, conference room, ladies room, cultural activity room, examination department, NSS department and well equipped, laboratories, separate library building, Woman Hostel and many more departments. As the need of modern period the facility of separate computer center for all students is made available. 24 Hour Internet facilities are available for all students. Internet facility is also available for students and staff. For good health of students, medical investigation is made from time to time in Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad from expert doctors.
To cultivate feeling of national integration Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad has NSS department, which also enables the students to understand the significance of labor. Instead of taking education, within the four walls, it is essential for the students to mix with the society, so that they create interest in social service. We have two units of NSS. To encourage the students in various curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Adarsh Mahavidyalya – Osmanabad arranges for distribution of the trophies to the meritorious students.
