Amrut Mody School of Management Post Graduate Institute of Management – Amrut Mody School of Management PGIM Ahmedabad was established by The Ahmedabad Education Society in the year 2000. The dynamic leadership of the Governing Council members of AES has enabled its institutions to spread the light of knowledge and wisdom in diverse fields of education. At Amrut Mody School of Management Post Graduate Institute of Management – Amrut Mody School of Management PGIM Ahmedabad class rooms morph into learning centers. They are designed as auditoriums, with step up seating to facilitate discussions. They are equipped with wireless connectivity, LCD projectors and overhead projectors. The Institute has an Optical Fiber backbone to connect different departments. CAT-6 UTP cables are used for connecting end nodes to their respective desktop level switches. A 24-Port Layer 3 Gigabit Stackable switch and 48-port & 24-port 10/100 MBPS stackable D-Link switches have been installed and configured. Different Virtual LANs are logically separated with microscopic level of configuration for each and every active component used in the network. Different VLANs are created in the network for better identification and proper management of Amrut Mody School of Management Post Graduate Institute of Management – Amrut Mody School of Management PGIM Ahmedabad . WiFi Hot Spots have been installed for Wireless Network and more WiFi hotspots are planned for the future. About 175 nodes and can be presently connected through the LAN. Printing, scanning, CD & DVD writing facilities are provided to students using the latest of laser & inkjet printers, network printers & scanner. 2 MBPS Broad Band Internet high speed connectivity has been installed and provided.
The Amrut Mody School of Management Post Graduate Institute of Management – Amrut Mody School of Management PGIM Ahmedabad library has literature predominantly related to management and its allied subjects. The library has a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which includes books (more than 6500 books), international journals (more than 20), periodicals (more than 50), audio-visuals, CD/DVD’s, reports, database and case studies. It aims to develop a comprehensive collection of resources which are useful for academic and research purposes.
Residential facilities are available for outstation students. In the Amrut Mody School of Management Post Graduate Institute of Management – Amrut Mody School of Management PGIM Ahmedabad campus, there are separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostel mess is operated by a private contractor. Only vegetarian food is served in the mess. Ahmedabad Education Society has very good facilities for cricket and basketball. Various organizations uses these facilities for state and national level sports events. College offers Master of Business Administration course with various specializations.
