Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya – Bhopal was established in the academic year 2004 – 2005 by Kamla Nagar Educational Institute (Society), Kamla Nagar Kotra Sultanabad, Bhopal (M.P.). The institute strives to provide quality education, thereby providing quality Teacher Education, which in turn ensures better productivity and thus a better quality life to the associated people. Hence a better society on the basis of above facts Kamla Nagar Educational Institute, Kamla Nagar, Kotra, Bhopal decided to start a programme of Teacher Education which would fulfill the purpose of a teacher preparation to develop in each student his general education and personal culture, his constructive and creative freedom to innovate, to devise appropriate methods of communication and activities relevant to the need and capabilities of and the concerns of the community.

Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya – Bhopal owns its huge triple storied building with all the amenities and facilities like well furnished classrooms Hall, Principal’s room, staff room, Library, Laboratories and separate toilets for staff members and students. Building is fire safe and disables friendly. Well equipped technology lab consisting of 24 Computers, Printers, Over Head Projector Television, Radio, Educational C. D. and other equipments used for teaching. The lab facilitates online teaching and hands on experience.
Known to be the storage of knowledge; the Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya – Bhopal has provided spacious and well stocked state – of the art – Library with over 2000 books, Encyclopedias, reference books, educational journals and magazines. More books are added as per the requirement and request of students and staff. Institution has its own well equipped Biology, Physics and Chemistry labs with appropriate scientific apparatus models, charts and chemicals. College offers bachelor of education and master of education courses.
