Azeezia Dental College – Kollam is an educational initiative by Podikunju Musaliar Memorial Charitable and Educational Trust which was in turn started in 2001 to cherish the visionary and philanthropic activities of Late. Shri. Podikunju Musaliar. Azeezia Dental College – Kollam was started in 2005 – 2006 academic year with an annual intake of forty students. The under graduate dental training programme leading to BDS degree shall be a minimum of 5 years of study and 6 months Compulsory Rotatory Residency Internship. Degree may be awarded only after completing Internship. During this period, the student shall be required to have engaged in full time study. Our college is approved by the Government of Kerala, Dental Council of India.
Azeezia Dental College – Kollam is situated at Meeyannoor P.O Kollam Kerala. Azeezia College of Dental Sciences & Research got the Certificate of Appreciation given by Indian Prosthodontics Society (IPS) towards the success of Scientific Activities at 38th IPS Conference held at Indore on12th, 13th and 14th November 2010. The college has fully furnished and equipped class rooms, laboratories, Clinics, library and all other infrastructure including a multi-purpose hall and a conference/seminar hall, all in accordance with the specifications of the Dental Council of India.
Azeezia Dental College – Kollam Central Library has one of the finest medical libraries in Kerala with an impressive collection of medical literature. It has spacious reading rooms for students where they can study up till late hours. It has a large number of books, journals, periodicals and modern self-learning facility through audio-visual aids to keep the readers abreast of latest medical developments all over the world. The library has also acquired 25 computers out that 25 are connected to Internet. This has served as unique educational support for medical students, faculty, and staff of the college.
