We have done community work with the collaboration of Punjab State council for science and technology, Chandigarh since 2008 on various subjects like : In 2008-09 : Climate Change (Plantation), In 2009-10 : Climate Change (Global Warming), In 2010-11 : Biodiversity Conservation. Community Colleges are an alternative system of education which aims to empower individuals through appropriate skill development leading to gainful employment in collaboration with the local industry and community. They offer the advantage of tailoring programmes to local needs and state-based requirements by using approaches that will be most acceptable to workers in the given community.
