Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra enjoys the privilege of being the oldest institution of learning in North India. It was founded in 1823 A.D. with the pioneering efforts of the noted Sanskrit Scholar and astrologer Pandit Gangadhar Shastri. The institution functioned as Government College till 1883.There after; its management was handed over to a Board of Trustees and a Committee of Management, both approved by the Government.

Library of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra offers an excellent collection of text books (Engg. & Technology) , reference, books ,conference proceedings, reports, technical magazines and journals. Library has well equipped reading room for students and staff.
Hostel of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra students reside in three hostels, two for boys and one for girls. The capacity of hostels is for 250 students. The students are very active; they have setup LAN and have 24 hrs internet facilities in the hostel. Various activities like ROSTRUM – a personality development program which includes Group Discussions, Debate, and Technical Updates, JAM and Quizzes. Regular Sports activities and championships are organized. Hostel Library maintains latest journals and technical magazines.
Computer Centre of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra is equipped with 80 IBM PIV (3.0 GHz) computers which are connected in LAN with two High End IBM Servers. All machines are connected to various peripheral like printers scanners with internet facility through 2MBPS Broadband Internet connection.
The campus of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra offers a multi-cuisine dinner providing mouth watering homemade food round the clock on all weekdays. The rooms are well equipped with all modern amenities such as reading desks, comfortable cushioned chairs , separate cub-boards, etc. for a pleasant stay of the inmates.
Transport of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra has a fleet of 5 Buses. The routes for the buses are organized so that students from all parts of the city can easily approach the college. The facility is made available to the students at reasonable charges depending upon the routes opted by them. The main pickup points are I.S.B.T, Anand Vihar, Noida, Seemapuri, Ghaziabad city, etc.
The training and placement department of Faculty of Engineering and Technology – FET Agra holds centralized campuses for all the three B.Tech programs (Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering) that are offered in the institute.
