Rohini Educational Society, made a humble beginning with Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS in the year 1988. The society was started 18 years ago with the objective to provide quality education and to cater the ever-changing demands prevailing in the education sector.

In 2004 Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS was started in 2004 with the objective of providing leaders to the society. Masters in Business Administration (MBA), a two year program, Recognized and Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi was started. In 2005 giBS accomplished yet another milestone by introducing BBA, BBA (CAM) and Journalism courses, Recognized and Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi. In 2007 Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS made a proud record of having over 40 companies in the Campus for the Campus Placement of MBA (2005-2007). giBS obtained Masters in Computer Applications from GGSIPU, Delhi. It also got an approval of 30 more intakes in the MBA program. We also got approval from AICTE for MBA (Part time). giBS Introduced new course MCA with an intake of 60 while the intake of MBA was increased to 90.
The Pedagogy at Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS includes Case Studies, Workshops, Seminars, Industrial Visits, Simulation Exercises, Business Quizzes, Summer Training, Dissertation, Guest Lectures, Group and Individual Presentations, Group Discussions, Live Projects, Industry Certifications, General proficiency, Foreign Language and interaction with eminent personalities from the corporate.
The Conference commenced with words of wisdom of eminent personality, Prof. Arun Kumar Rath, Professor Eminence, MDI-Gurgaon & President DMA, who was the chief guest .Many corporate executives, academicians and students participated in the research based paper presentations and case studies which were segregated in four broad categories. Two categories were covered on the first day and rest followed on 13th February. Proceedings of the conference make an interesting and thought provoking reading to sit up and act to convert the present challenges into an opportunity for growth and prosperity.
Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS organized its annual cultural fest ZENITH-2010 on 19th and 20th March, 2010 with the theme to Explore, Experience and Excel. The Chief Guest on the occasion was our honorable MLA of Rohini region, Sh. Jai Bhagwan Aggarwal. Some of the interesting events that were held during the two day long fest are Karobar (Bulls and Bear), Khul Ja Sim Sim (Treasure hunt), Rang Barse (Rangoli), Geet Gata Hun Main (Solo Singing), Nache Mayuri (Solo Dancing), Waltz Around (Choreography). The main attraction of the fest was Super Star-Mr & Ms Zenith. The fest was attended by more than 20 different colleges and over 500 enthusiastic students of Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS in the audience. Special attraction included Tambola, Musical Chairs, skill games, plenty of food stuff and lots of prizes to be won. The magnetism of Pandit ji (stall) lured one and all. The gala event was a two day extravaganza full of fun, fizz, frolic and festivity.
Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS has a state of the art, fully computerized and air-conditioned library that is well equipped with latest edition of Management & IT Books of Indian and International authors, Business Magazines, National Journals & International Journals, Encyclopedia, and Educational CDs etc. The Central library provides access to e-journals through EBSCO database and plans to become a member of UGC- INFONET through ERNET. The mission of the Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS library is to provide timely, reliable and comprehensive information to the students and the faculties. Library covers the area of 250 square meters. It has a spacious reading room with a seating capacity of more than 60.
Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS campus is a Wi-Fi campus with a futuristic IT infrastructure needed for the interactive learning and in imparting professional education. The computer lab and e-Learning centre of giBS are equipped with more than 100 nodes connected to a Server forest of three high end servers. All the nodes are high end Intel Pentium based PC with 512 MB RAM and CD/DVD writer. The campus is supported by 512 kbps bandwidth leased line for round the clock internet connectivity, accessed through a microwave tower installed in the campus. The labs are well equipped with relevant licensed software, scanners and LaserJet printers.
The fully air-conditioned auditorium of Gitarattan International Business School-GIBS is multi-purpose and is equally well suited to corporate functions, private occasions or large scale college festivals. The auditorium is equipped with latest audio, visual technology and projector facility that provides the central focus for both student learning and major public lectures. The college Auditorium has witnessed many scholastic, cultural and social programs, including the most celebrated event i.e. National level competition such as “CASE FOLIO” where the teams of Indian premier B Schools participates.
