Mahakal Group of Institutes of Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain was founded by Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan (PSSS) with the aim to transform young talent into competent and socially responsible professionals with a global vision. In a decade of academic excellence, it has attained a unique position in the professional education sector in the Central India. Our success story begins from 26th july, 2001. The inauguration of Mahakal Institute of Technology by the then Hon’ble chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Digvijay Singhji laid the foundation of our academic endeavours.
Thus,
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain was established in 2001-02 with just 220 students and few faculty members in the varied streams. There were only 4 branches of Engineering viz Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics. The result of our very first semester examination was quite encouraging one.
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain, Mahakal Group of Institutes has individual library with individual staff members for each institute. Each institute library displays more than 30,000 books relevant to various fields of engineering from reputed publications authored by eminent authors, and provides a great scope for the students to improve upon their knowledge.
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain campus is keen in establishing itself in extracurricular activities. Under the auspices of arts &. Sports club, the students explore, exhibit and excel in their artistic talents. Frequent cultural functions and annual arts festival provide opportunity to students to relax mentally amidst tight academic schedule. The sports club is active in providing right environment for the students to participate in various sports, games and other co-curricular activities.
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain develops competitive spirits required for their future career. Apart from college competitions our students participate in Inter-collegiate Tournaments, Inter-Zone Tournaments, Inter-University Tournaments, District, State and National Level Tournaments and have won laurels for the campus. More than 150 students of our campus are playing in state or national level sports.
The Playground of Mahakal Group of Institute of Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain is spacious and maintained on par with standards of premiere institutes of learning and knowledge. Mahakal Group is a Sports Nodal of our region. Facilities for Games like, Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Indoor Games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carom are provided. Further, a well-developed Basketball Court, Cricket ground, table tennis venue is added facilities.
At present then are 1600 students from
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain have been placed in Multinational like TCS, Satyam, Infosys, and Accenture etc. Dr. Vivek Bansod Guided 40 undergraduate projects in CAD/CAM, 2 papers published in National Seminar, Prepared projects under various schemes. Dr. Bansod has been a Professor in-charge in World Bank Project, Cisco Network Eng. Indo-Canada, and Indo-Japan Projects. Under his guidance National Level Tech fest “Techno Kumbh” was organized in
Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain, Coordinator AICTE project and new PG courses.
Pre Placement Period in Mahakal Institute of Technology – MIT Ujjain provide soft Skill & Personality Development, Classes are conducted on regular basis for grooming the student for the campus selections. These classes are conducted by the specialists specifically hired for the purpose. Aptitude Tests, To ensure that the students have adequately prepared through regular practice of Aptitude Tests, classes are organised right from first year on wards. Special classes are conducted for the third year student just before the companies start coming to the campus. Language Laboratory, A very nicely equipped Language Lab is designed to practice the students in learning communication skills and spoken English. The faculty for this important task is one amongst the best in the entire region.
