Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia was established in the year 1983. It is considered one of the premier engineering institutes of this region. It has subsequently been granted an "A" Grade by the Government of Maharashtra and NBA accredited. The Institute is affiliated to Nagpur University and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Students are encouraged to avail these facilities as per the timetable; however it is also mandatory for all students to make use of the library. Reference section is open for 12 hours a day.
Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia covers 50 acres of land. Constructions of about 3 Lakhs Sq. Ft. comprising of well equipped laboratories, classrooms, workshops, centralized as well as departmental level Computer Centers, Library, Training and Placement Cell, Boys and Girls Hostels, etc. within the campus. Apart from that, we have banking facility, cooperative stores etc., inside the campus.

Bank Facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia is to cater to the needs of the students an extension counter of Punjab National Bank is located in the campus. The working hours of bank are from 11.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 11.00 am to 1.00 p.m. on Saturday.
Hostel facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia has on-campus Hostel facilities for more than 600 boys and a separate hostel facility for more than 200 girls. The students under the guidance of the faculty manage the Boys' Hostel Mess on a co-operative basis. The Final Year students are also provided with an internet connection in their rooms and STD facility to communicate with their parents. Girls Hostel, presently, has the total accommodation for 150 girls. It is located 1.5 Kms away from the college campus and railway station. There are three, two and single seated room available. Girls Hostel is within the Professors' Colony premise which added to security of it. Facilities like Mess, Internet, Telephone, and STD/IST/PCO are available in the Hostel. Facility for Outdoor Games like Badminton Court is also available. The Boys' Hostels are looked after by Warden Prof. D.K. Pandey & Girls Hostel is looked after by Prof. D. Y. Kadel.
PCO facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia in order to facilitate an instant communication of the students with their parents, we provide a public call office in the campus. It operates round the clock. Indoor Games Facilities as well as Outdoor Game facilities of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia such as Tennis Court, Volleyball and Basketball Court and a big open ground for sports like Cricket, Football, Hockey etc. Mess Facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia in hostel premises run on cooperative basis by the students with an in charge a senior faculty member. Mess is compulsory for first year students while it is optional for others to join.
Guest House Facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia for parents are provided have three rooms with three beds in each room. The guest house for dignitaries is also provided separately. It has two bed rooms with two beds each room. Internet facility of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia is making arrangement for providing internet and computing facilities to the hostel inmates. The work in this regard is under progress.
Placement Cell of Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology – MIET Gondia section endeavors to provide career planning and job seeking assistance to students. It has a full pledge Training & Placement Cell headed by Ms. Dolly R. Jain. Prof. Tapas Guha (Dean & Advisor T&P Cell) a Senior Faculty from Dept. of Electronics Engineering. It also has co-coordinators from each engineering department. The Training and Placement Cell takes care of the following key activities for the students.
