Central Library of Pune Institute of Computer Technology – PICT is known for its richest collection of books and journals. It is one of the best libraries in the region. The library functions from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. on all working days, and the Reading Hall remains open for 24x7 hours. All the books have been classified as per Dewey decimal classification and are available for open access. PICT Library provides services & facilities to the requirements of the Institutionals teaching & research programmes. Pune Institute of Computer Technology – PICT has always believed in the all round development of its students. Encouraging sports activities plays an important role in doing the same. A plethora of inter-departmental or intra-college events are organized round the year which allow students to showcase their talents in various sports and games and hence be chosen to represent the college at the inter-institutional level.
For team events like football, cricket, and basketball teams are formed for every academic year, In addition to team games, sports like Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom and Chess are also held with the best players in these competitions forming the college teams. At the end of the year, the achievers are rewarded with certificates and medals and awards for the best player in each sport and grand prizes of the "Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year". The students at Pune Institute of Computer Technology – PICT are also encouraged to participate in various dance, music, drama competitions throughout the year.
Pune Institute of Computer Technology – PICT Training and Placement cell is headed by Mr. G.S.Mundada who is keen in encouraging students to prefer jobs that better suit their profile. The placement season commences in the first month of every academic year and continues till the end of the academic year. Pre-Placement Talks are conducted for the final year students prior to the commencement of placement session every year. The T&P cell has adequate infrastructure to accommodate all the activities related to training and placement of Pune Institute of Computer Technology – PICT students.
It also has wireless connectivity with company operation rooms, interview rooms and student coordination rooms. The T&P cell is assisted by a committee comprising of student representatives from U.G and P.G classes. To cater the needs of industry and students, separate divisions are created with a single point of contact for each division.
