My Backup Plus Slim portable drive was bought for me as Xmas present in December2016. Had no use for it then, but finally opened the box in January2018 and loaded about 2000 photos, many of very sentimental family pictures including my daughter's wedding. Viewed photos once, but next time I tried to use the drive my computer, nor the TV or other computers recognised the device although the power light was on. I checked the warranty status on your site and it said expired, but the box states the drive has a two year warranty. In any event it is not fit for purpose, as required by law, as it failed after only one use. Please confirm that you will deal with the matter at no cost to me.

I have received eight TB Porsche drive back from you today. I must say that I am very disappointed by the appearance of received disc. When I was sending my old drive to you few days ago for warranty service it looks like brand new drive just pulled out form the box. In return I have received the drive with nasty scratch on the corner of the drive. I am putting a lots of effort for aesthetics of my environment and I am taking great care for the items I am surrounded with. I would appreciate if you replace this drive with one which will be in similar outer shape as this one I have send to you. Best Regards

I use a ST92508275AS external drive for incremental backups of my photos. I am surprised and concerned that my system flagged a S. M. A. R. T warning for this drive (Please see attached CrystalDiskInfo screenshot) Please note that this drive has only been used for 247 hours, although your returns system tells me it is out of warranty. I am very concerned that this drive is now suspect, and I must now transfer these important files to another drive. I hope that there is no data corruption. I buy Maxtor disk drives because of their reputation for quality and reliability. You will understand that I am disappointed by this experience. I look forward to your comments.

I am trying to register my Maxtor three portable. I have used DriveDetect to get the serial number. I carefully, and accurately, copie the serial number, but was told it was 'Invalid'. I copied and pasted the number into Word and then copied and pasted the number onto the registration form. With the same result. Frustrating doesn't cover how I felt.
