Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana of North Gujarat region offering highly reputed computer application course M.C.A. was established in August 1999. This institute started with the help of the donation of Rs. One Crore from Acharya Motibhai Patel with a view to impart quality computer education and training. In course of time, however, there was a need to educate and train computer professionals to meet the changing manpower requirements of IT industry.
The dynamic era of computer technology created a rising demand for young professionally trained persons to occupy positions in IT industry. Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana therefore,took up the challenge to meet the call of the time and contribute its mite to the cause of computer education and training. Accordingly, Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana offering one year diploma and three year programs degree programs which provides opportunities to youngster to acquire knowledge, skill and essential attitudes for assuming position in computer profession.

The entire collection of library is computerized. The student, Faculty can search and see the status of Books from any place in the building without visiting the library. Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana library is spacious and provides enough space for reading, Audio-video Room and newspaper stand. We constantly update our library. With newer technology’s books. This year we purchase computer-based tutorial for various subjects, which will helpful for students & faculties. We have given the order of international journal for further research and take the benefit of newer research in the world.
The students can access well-equipped 4 computer labs with 240 computers (C2D 61, P-D 35,P-IV 90, P-III-31, Other-23) computers. Digital Lab provides the students with an insight to the fundamentals of computer hardware and internal mechanism of the circuits. Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana is committed to provide uninterrupted internet service by 2 MBPS BSNL Broadband & 512 KBPS radio link connectivity for its user in the premises. All the activities of Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana will be computerized with these modules. Software can produce various reports of student list, TC, attendance reports, examination reports etc. With the help of the RFID CARD, Students can access various information regarding syllabus, attendance etc. Staff members can also Sign in & Sign out with the RFID card. Books of the library can also be issued and returned. Faculties can define lesson plan & subject contents of their respective subjects.
Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana has Multimedia Projector and 3 overhead projector. These equipments make our teaching more productive and improves quality of delivery. Last semester students are under going industrial training at reputed IT vendors or users of the IT. They participate to develop IT Product at IT user location which help to learn about the industrial environment and prepares well to serve the industry. Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana conducts continuing education programs for junior faculty members as well as QIP ( Quality Improvement Programs for Staff and Students) at regular intervals. The college organizes seminars and workshops on current trends and Technology. The faculty of the college are sent for advanced training to various industries, refreshes courses and staff development programs at national levels.
Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies – AMPICS Mehsana encourage our faculty and students to become member of the professional bodies like IEEE and CSI ( Computer Society of India). They are also encouraged to participate in Presentation of Papers and visits to exhibitions.
