Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh was established under the guidance of law experts, eminent educationists and social workers for the development of education in wide areas as per provisions of the Constitution of India. Government of Uttar Pradesh, registered the Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh for propagation and development of distance education on the pattern of Open & Distance Education System on 24 September 1984, vide file No. 7231 (M) and registration No. 821. A building of Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad U.P is under construction in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow on 25 Acr Land.
Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh, under Government of India Act 21-1860, is Legal and Voluntary Institution and has legal right of teaching & training under the provision of constitution. Copies of Bylaws, prospectus, etc. are sent to the various Authorities and Departments of the Government of India/State Governments and Union Territories by the Parishad from time to time.
Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh offers different Kind of Graduate and Undergraduate courses. Undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, BCA, BBA & Graduate courses like Master of Technology, Master of Arts, PGDCA and Diploma courses etc.

Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh is a non commercial voluntary social educational institution with the aims of expansion and promotion of education, publication of scare, unique and newly written literature, pay honour and due promotion to the educationists.
As per the decision of Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh 14th Sept. 1990 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas. The prisoners, detitutes, women and children of orphanages are eligible to get admission, after obtaining the permission of concerned Superintendent / Magistrate etc. Under this scheme seats are reserved and there is also complete exemption from fee. These students of Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad-Uttar Pradesh are provided scholarships and text books free of cost. If the permission from authorities concerned is delayed for any reason the candidate may send application form declaring himself, his/her status, directly to Parishads office. In this condition the candidate has to pay half of the fee. Such candidates may be provided with facilities for appearing in examination without paying any exam fee, after getting the permission of authority concerned.
