KIIT School of Law – Bhubaneswar was established by KIIT University in 2007 to meet the growing demand for legal professionals in the wake of globalization and rapid expansion of India’s economy. Academic programmes of the School are recognized and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the apex body regulating the legal education in India, and UGC. At present, KIIT School of Law – Bhubaneswar is the only law school in India having specialized honours courses in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Crime & Criminology, Intellectual Property Law , Taxation Law and Human Rights Law.

Classrooms are air conditioned and designed as per international standards to ensure effective teacher-student interaction. They are also equipped with LCD projectors and a host of other contemporary teaching aids. KIIT School of Law – Bhubaneswar library is a beautiful and modern library well updated books, journals & multimedia learning aids, provides the student and opportunities to keep themselves well versed with related information. A library well stocked with all the necessary volumes is available at the student's disposal. It is the synthesis of theories with working knowledge, together avenues to exploit all the available resources; we can mould our students into thorough professionals, who would become the leaders of their profession.
KIIT School of Law – Bhubaneswar has facility for Moot Court. Participants take part in simulated court proceedings, which usually include drafting briefs and oral arguments. KSOL also organises its own Moot Court Competitions. The 52nd Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the First BCI International Law Moot Court Competition were held in the school of Law.
