NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur is located at Hingna Road, Wanadongri, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The proposed library houses abundant books, reference material and national and international journals of repute. NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur also has modern e-learning facilities. All library operations, including issue and return of books, title searching etc. are computerized. Around 1200 titles and 6000 volumes will be added over the next 3 years. It is proposed to start digital Library to provide online Journal from IEEE/IEE. Excellent Internet surfing facility is provided to the students and staff through RF link from STPI. The Internet facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 day a week. This helps students to interact with their counter parts anywhere concerning their project, technical paper presentation and research works. The students can also keep themselves abreast of the fast changing technologies.
Hostel life is an important part of NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur. Getting to know your fellow students and living in an environment conducive to the pursuit of goals is vital to academic performance in college years. At NYSSCER hostel is located within the college premises. It can accommodate as many as 100 students. Mental & physical relaxation is offered to the students in the hostel through facilities such as the meditation center, the gymnasium etc. Other facilities include library, cable TV, dispensary & 24 x 7 Internet facility. Staying in hostel also fosters important qualities of self-reliance, patience, interpersonal communication and confidence.
NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur provides facilities and encouragement for every sports activity that students find interest in. Exceptional talents are given adequate encouragement to emerge as winning performers in their chosen sporting disciplines. NYSSCER has a dispensary on campus where doctors are available regularly on call and they also pay visit to Institute on regular basis. Timely checkups and alliance with major hospitals in Nagpur ensure specialized care. For meeting the emergency call an ambulance is also provided in the college.
NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur bus facility is provided to all the first year students at subsidized rates. A yearly pass to use this facility can be obtained from the college office after paying the prescribed charges. The buses ply on three different routes. The facility is also extended for visits to industries, research institutes, for survey camp etc. Senior faculty members are member of this cell. They look into the difficulties faced by the students in academic and administrative matters; students can approach the members of this cell to resolve their problems. They can also use suggestion and complaint boxes and email to bring academic discomforts and grievances to the notice of management.
NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur has fully air conditioned conference hall, Group Discussion hall and Seminary Hall, with advanced multimedia projector. Special e-Classrooms at NYSSCER use the 'technology in teaching' concept with multimedia equipment, LCD projectors and screens. Language laboratory has been developed by NYSS College of Engineering and Research – NYSSCER Nagpur to facilitate sharpening of communication skills in English outside the classroom. There are as many as twenty computers with earphones. Students from rural areas who are generally weak in English can have sufficient ear training in the language lab. The Lab also offers facilities to learn French and German to the interested students.
