Nift Tea College of Knitwear Fashion - Tirupur was established in 1997 by the Tirupur Exporters’ Association under the dynamic leadership of Padmasri A.Sakthivel, Father of Tirupur Exports in collaboration with SSI & ARI, Ministry of Industry, Govt. of India, New Delhi and the industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India Ltd., Mumbai.

A massive structure for housing the classrooms and the state-of-the-art labs were built at a cost of Rs.4.5 crores and the construction for the administrative, Computer lab, Language lab and an auditorium to accommodate 1000 students is under progress and it will be ready for use from the next academic year.

The library of College subscribes to 72 Journals and Magazines in different areas and the students are permitted to use the library on all working days.
