Videos and CD-ROMs. We have set up IEEE Student Branch in the Academic Year 2004-2005. At present, 4 Faculty Members and 30 Students have joined IEEE. We have also subscribed 38 International Journals from IEEE. We have Institutional Membership of Delnet, which provides on line access to the various Databases to facilitate the students and staff members for their research and other knowledge management.

We have developed an exclusive Interface to access digital library information. We have developed the digital collection through Greenstone Digital Library Software. CMRIT Library is completely automated with "Libsoft", a Bangalore based software. All the books and Membership cards have been barcoded. The Library Collection is as follows:

The institution is equipped with LCD, Scanner, CD Writer and other equipments wherein the students and teacher educators fully avail the facilities. College has developed a well equipped Electronics/Physics lab under the able guidance of experienced faculties. Most modern electronics practical kits are available in the Lab. Besides the institution have well furnished laboratories for Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics & Chemistry.

The juries and seminars are conducted in seminar hall with ultra modern LCD projector, computer, and audio and video facilities. The college building seminar hall has a capacity of 100, The IT building hall has a capacity of 250 and all the juries and seminars are conducted in the seminar hall. The hall is equipped with ultra modern LCD projector, computer workstation, audio-visual facilities and wireless Internet facilities.
CMR Institute of Technology - CMRIT Bangalore offers hostel facilities to the students in the hostel located in the campus that is meant for all students of college. Psychology Lab has all the tests and the corresponding equipments for conducting psychology experiments based on B. Ed. syllabus. College also provides expert guidance and counseling services to needy students. College has several classrooms which are well equipped with the latest teaching aids and equipments.
