Library facility of Gulzar Group of Institutes – GGI Khanna has large area and accommodates about 200 students for reference work at any time. The Library has number of volumes of books and maintains open access facility for students and staff members, which include Books, Magazines, Periodicals and Scientific Journals (National / International). The Library has a reprographic section to meet the requirements of students and staff. The college provides high speed leased line (2 Mpbs) internet facility with Wi-Fi connection.
Computing Facilities at Gulzar Group of Institutes – GGI Khanna comprise of 8 state of the art labs: Programming labs, Operating Systems lab, Internet & Networking labs, Electronics Computer Aided Design lab and the Multimedia lab. The labs are equipped with 200 machines of latest configuration. The recent developments include installation of two hundred new P-IV computers in the labs. All the labs are internally networked and inter-connected to each other to form a LAN.
Internet and Networking Labs facility of Gulzar Group of Institutes – GGI Khanna these labs have been developed in collaboration with HP& are equipped with one 5100 series IBM server, a 220 x-series server, 81 nodes, 5 routers, three 8 ports switches and five 24 ports hubs. The labs are devoted to router and other network based programming techniques. They also have a LAN Trainer Kit to simulate the implementation of networks. These labs have a 2 mbps (CIR 1:1) RF Internet connection. Internet access facility is made available to the students so that they can explore the latest technologies available on the web and update their knowledge base.
Sports facility of Gulzar Group of Institutes – GGI Khanna and extra-curricular facilities such as a fully equipped indoor gymnasium, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and basket ball courts are under development and will be ready for the exclusive use of students. In addition, the Institute also has facilities for table tennis and chess room in the recreational area – all to nurture healthy minds through healthy bodies. Yoga and meditation camps, too, are planned to inculcate the discipline of self-realization and control for the management of stress and enhancing concentration.
Training and Placement Cell of Gulzar Group of Institutes – GGI Khanna under professional experts has been established, which has tie ups with many prominent companies for regular industrial interactions. Industrialists visit the institute for events like project exhibition, guest lectures. Our first batch is almost ready to go out from the portal GGI to serve the nation in 2011. It is our hope that majority of the students will get selected in various prestigious industries. In addition to placement, this cell co-ordinate the activities like arranging career guidance, personality development program, higher education guidance and encourage students to take up industrial assignments / projects.
