M E S College – Idduki managed by Muslim Educational Society (Regd) Kozhikode was started in 1982. The college has been granted minority status by the Minority Commission of India. The college has 5 Under Graduate programmes and 5 Post Gaduate programmes. The college is the only committed centre of higher education in the area. M E S College – Idduki is situated in an ideal pleasant and calm location surrounded by cardamom and pepper plantations at Vattappara in Pampadumpara Panchayat of Udumbanchola Taluk in Idukki district. Our College is an eminent centre playing a key role in the development of higher education.
The library plays a central role in helping college achieve its mission of providing students a quality education. Beyond its immediate responsibility to provide the information services and resources that support the courses of study offered at the college, the library has the broader mission of fostering in our students the importance and necessity of lifelong learning. M E S College – Idduki library adequately equipped with books covering wide range of disciplines of academic and non-academic interest. The college also subscribes for international and national journals, periodicals and newspapers for the students and faculty members at the college library. There is a computer Laboratory equipped with 60 computers with Internet Service, Printers and Scanners.
There is a full fledged women's hostel named after, the late Haji V.K. Muhammed Kutty Sahib, founder President of M E S College – Idduki. The hostel also provides accomodation to a few lady teachers of the college, to assist the students in their studies. Boys students can stay in near by houses as paying. A fully equipped computer Centre named M.E.S Cyber Centre is functioning in the college. The Cyber Centre imparts computer education to the staff, students and the public.
The placement cell arrange campus recruitment programmes for the student of M E S College – Idduki.We are in tie-up with various companies. A career guidance cell is functioning in the college with the aim of imparting guidance on career opportunities. The cell conducts career guidance camps and seminars.
