Sri Gopal Krishna Gandhi , HonourableGovernor of West Bengal , ingurated the Diamond gubilee on Agust 1, 2005 in the presence of Prof. Swapan Kr. Pramanik ,Honourable Vice-chancellor, Vidyasagar University and many other distinguished guests. Many developmental project has been adopted for implementation as part of Diamond Jubilee.
