RVS Educational Trust was started in 1983 in memory of Master Rathinavel Subramaniam the eldest son of Mrs. & Dr.K.V. Kuppusamy the Founder Trustees. College is situated 8 kms from Dindigul town on the Karur road via Gujiliamparai. Formerly it was affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Now it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai and it is approved by NCTE, New Delhi.
