Saifee Golden Jubilee, Quaderia College – Burhanpur was established in the year 1962 for the purpose of fulfilling the higher academic aspirations of the students of Burhanpur. Prior to the foundation of this college, students aspiring for higher studies after matriculation had to go to distant places which was practically difficult for the middle class and lower middle class people of Burhanpur. The vision of a science college materialzed when in July 1962 Late His Holiness Dr. Syedna Taher Saifuddin Sahib (A.Q.S.) Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University founded the college.
